Sailing excursion, Three Wise Men parade

As is traditional, the Three Wise Men will arrive in Barcelona by boat aboard the Santa Eulàlia sailboat, docking at the Moll de la Fusta in Barcelona.
The arrival of Their Majesties will be accompanied by dozens of boats as they enter the port on the afternoon, January 5.

The Magi from the East accompanied by their retinue of fantastic creatures and the royal postmen ready to collect the last letters of wishes before the magical night.

The party will start already at sea with the children and families who come to receive their majesties and already on land, with animation for the boys and girls waiting for Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar.

Their Illustrious Majesties of the East, after the traditional welcoming ceremony and the handing over of the keys to the city, will address a speech to the children of the city.

This year The Magi are accompanied by a procession that will tour the streets of the city with their magnificent floats with music, parties, shows ... and many gifts to distribute to all houses!

According to tradition, the Three Kings have a special emissary for the city of Barcelona called Patge Gregori (Paje Gregorio). He is the page with the most powers of the Magi, and is responsible for monitoring which children have behaved well or badly during the year.

And as is tradition, the Three Wise Men from the East come to Barcelona like every year in commemoration of the birth of baby Jesus to bring happiness and gifts to children, following in the wake of the star of Bethlehem.
