TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHARTER OF SAILBOAT, YACHT or MOTORBOAT IN BARCELONA

Discounts applicable in motorboat charter

• 5% booking made before January 31st
• 5% Repeat customers
• 5% 2 weeks boat charter
• 10% 3 weeks boat charter

What is included in the motorboat charter?

• VAT
• Standard equipment
• Dinghy
• All risk insurance for the boat
• Personal accident insurance
• Mooring in the base port.

What is NOT included in the motorboat charter?

• Fuel
• Outboard engine
• Moorings outside the base port
• Optional or compulsory extras of the boat charter.

Motorboat charter timetable

• Day charter: between 10.00 h and 12.00 h. until 18.00 h.
• Week boat charter: From Saturday between 14.00 h and 16.00 h to Friday 18.00 h. Possibility to stay overnight until Saturday at 9.00 a.m. (check availability and price).
• Weekend boat rental: From Friday 18.00 h or Saturday 10.00 h until Sunday 18.00 h (check availability and price).

Boat charter deposit

• Deposit or security deposit: each boat is assigned a mandatory deposit in the boat rental, for possible damage resulting from misuse of the boat during the boat charter contract.
• Deposit and damage insurance: full protection of the deposit and damages until the boat is ready to be used again:
  • Full insurance cover for 1 day: 120.00€.
  • Full insurance cover for 2 to 7 days: 240€.

Extras when hiring a motorboat charter

• Optional extras when hiring a boat:
  • Skipper service:
    • Half day: 140,00€.
    • Day (8 hours): 290,00€ (+ food)
    • 24h: 360,00€ (+ food)
  • Sailor or hostess service
    • Half day: 120,00€.
    • Day: 250,00€ (+ food)
    • 24h: 300,00€ (+ food)
• Compulsory boat rental extras:

Method of payment of the boat rental

• Payment on reservation of the boat charter: 50%.
• Payment of the rest of the boat rental: 50% 1 month before boarding.
• Extras and skipper in cash on the day of boarding.
• Deposit with Visa or cash.
• Deposit and additional damage protection insurance: at the time of chartering the yacht.
• Boat charter payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card or cash.
• All payments must be made at the beginning of the boat charter.

Schedules

• Day charter: between 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m.
• Weekend charter: Saturday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 a.m. to Sunday at 18.00 p.m. Possibility to stay overnight Friday, embarking at 18.00 p.m. (Extra Cost)
• Week charter: Saturday between 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 a.m. to Friday at 18.00 p.m. Possibility to stay overnight until Saturday at 09.00 a.m. (Extra Cost)

• Skipper service:
  • Half day: €120,00
  • Day: €190,00 (+ maintenance)
  • 24h: 240,00€ (+ maintenance)
• Seaman or stewardess service:
  • Half day: €80,00
  • Day: €120,00 (+ maintenance)
  • 24h: €150,00 (+ maintenance)
• Bedding (sheets and towels): €20,00 per person
• Outboard engine: €90,00

Payment Terms

• Booking payment: 50%
• Remaining Amount: 50% 3 weeks before embark
• Extras and Skipper in cash at check-in
• Bail with credit card or cash
• Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card or cash
• All payments should be made at the beginning of the charter
